Bulla Regia

 Bulla Regia Formerly located on the road from Carthage to Hippo, in the northwest of Tunisia, the archaeological site of Bulla Regia hosts the remains of Roman houses.

The peculiarity of these is to have an underground floor taking the plan of the ground floor of the house, the trait that is not found in other regions of similar climate in the Roman Empire. In addition to housing, the site has a capitol and a Temple of Apollo.

Practical information:
The town of Souk el Arba, or Jendouba, is located just over two hours drive from Tunis.
